The BASE payout is 200 luminance

The MAX payout is 1000 luminance

The Killer is rewarded either the killed players (rank number / 2) in luminance before the kill occurred or 200 depending on which is highest up to a max of 1000

Death Streak 0-3: 30 MINUTES

Death Streak 4-10: 4 Hours * Current Death Streak up to a Streak of 10 Deaths in row.

10 Deaths * 4 Hours = MAX of 40 hours(1.5 days)


Death Streak >10:

  • Kill is not ranked
  • No rewards
  • The Killed player receives a META flag in the database

The Killer is rewarded either the killed players (rank number / 2) in luminance before the kill occurred or 600 depending on which is highest up to a max of 5000

Death Streak >10:

  • Kill is not ranked
  • No rewards
  • The Killed player receives a META flag in the database
Suicides -50 Points MINIMUM
  • Suicides Base Point Loss per Suicide -50
  • Suicides add an Additional -10 Points Lost per target in the area
  • Suicides logged to the database for webpage of SHAME!
  • Suicides do not affect the Player or Monarch Incident #
  • Suicides do not affect the Player or Monarch Player Death #
  • Suicides reset the Player Streak to 0
  • Suicides adds +1 to the Death Streak of the Player
META KILLS Kills of META marked characters are not ranked

If the Killed has a Death Streak >=10

the Killed gets marked as META and the kill is ignored |

Experience Calculation

Experience is calculated using the following information about the killed player before the kill occurred

               CalculatedXPReturn = CalculatedXPReturn -ideaths -ideathstreak;
               CalculatedXPReturn = CalculatedXPReturn + (iincidents * imod1);
               CalculatedXPReturn = CalculatedXPReturn + CalculatedXPReturn * iincidents;

Lum Calculation

Targets & Friends

  • NPK players are not counted as either Targets or Friends
  • META marked players not counted as either Targets or Friends
  • Level <=149 players are not counted as either Targets or Friends
  • Admin players are not counted as either Targets or Friends




META Flag

  • The META flag is strictly enforced to prevent bots from ruining the fun for other players
  • Without the META flag, several custom content PK areas were easily broken by META players in the past

META Flagging

  • Players who acquire 10+ ranked PK deaths in a row are now alerted when they are marked as a META character at the time of the 10th death
  • When a player is META flagged the will receive a message about being META flagged every time they login until the flag has been cleared


META Flag Removal

  • Removing the META flag from a character requires the player to score a ranked kill on a player who has a PK Ranked 20+(subject to adjustment) http://a-chard.ddns.net/
  • Players who meet the removal requirements are now alerted when the META flag is removed from a META marked character at the time of the qualifying ranked kill
  • Once a players META flag has been cleared, they will no longer receive a message about being META flagged every time they login.
    • You can also use the player command /metaflag can be used to remove the META flag from a player for the cost of (10) Death Certificates and (500) Trade Note (250,000)

Server Global PK Message Flow

  • Check killer and killed to for valid data
  • Check Fight Club Status
  • Get kill location data
  • Reject +admin kills unless debug testing enabled


  • Reject Level <= 49 kills

  • Drop timer not expired yet
  • Reject attempted PK Trophy/Rank Farming kills

  • Collect Monarch information for killer and killed


  • Reject Friendly Fire (Monarchy/TK) kills

PK Trophy Timer Notes

  • A Killers PK Trophy drop timer is reset with a kill of a RANKED player Level 150+ with a Rank Score >= 100


FX's Notes

Trophy Drop and Rank Example

  • YOU get killed and get a drop timer of 20 minutes.
  • Someone else kills YOU again in 8 minutes and you will not no drop PK trophies or produce rank points
  • YOU then rank kill someone over 150+ with a rank of 101 (4) minutes later
  • This causes YOUR drop timer to go poof and you start dropping again 8 minutes early


META FLAG NOTES

  • The META player flag is not DIRECTLY related to un-attended macroing.
  • If a player is marked as META, this means they died a minimum 10 times in a row and registered a RANKED death without a ranked kill of any type RANKED or FIRST BLOOD
  • The META player flag is being utilized in nearly every custom server and content dynamic I have created
  • The META player flag may be used in the future to prevent META character portal and recall usage ONLY if necessary, in an extreme case


META Flag usage

  • A META flagged player does not produce ranked kills or PK Trophies to prevent the farming of Death Certificates, Violence Keys & Hollow and GRUE keys from macros
  • A META flagged player does not receive any Castle Ragako heartbeat payouts
  • A META flagged player does not have any effect at Castle Ragako heartbeats, timers or payouts
  • Players who are META flagged is of public record
