Castle Ragako Details
- Castle Ragako can be found on Titan Island
- The portal to Ragako can be found on the Sho side of the Town Network and is limited to Level 126+
- The Castle is surrounded by walls with two entrances.
- The Castle Entrances can be found on the East and West side walls and remain OPEN until the Castle has been taken by a Monarchy.
- INSIDE Castle Ragako is a NO-LOG landblock
- A flaming disco ball that will randomly buff players nearby with level 8 buffs
- Uber vendors
Taking Ownership of The Castle
Taking Ownership of the Castle
- Ownership of the Castle is achieved when a player who is either a Monarch or part of a Monarchy kills The Heart of Ragako.
- The player who makes the kill on The Heart of Ragako MUST be in either a Monarch with followers or part of another allegiance in order to take control of the castle.
- Ownership of the Castle will remain in place for an initial (24) hours if it is taken by another Monarchy.
- Ownership Time of the castle can increase or decrease with increased activity around the server
Castle Ownership
Once castle ownership is achieved several things will happen inside and around the Castle.
- A large bonfire will appear in the place of The Heart of Ragako.
- The Castle Stone will appear outside castle near the island drop from Town Network.
- The Castle Stone can be used by the castle owner Monarchy for entry into the castle.
- The Vendors(yellow) that are in Castle are replaced with (pink)Vendors with slightly better exchange rates.
- The East and West Gates A Gate Guardian will spawn outside each of the corresponding Castle entrances.
- Several useable Hatches will spawn inside the castle walls
- The Ragako Wishing Well will spawn in the center of the castle
- The castle will be surrounded by walls
- Entry into the castle is sealed-off to prevent entry into the castle by walls that can't be attacked are added to the East and West Castle entrances.
- NPC Buff Agent will de-spawn and leave town
Taking Ownership away from a Monarchy
East and West Gate Guardians
- Either the East Gate Guardian or West Gate Guardian must be killed by an attacker who is either a monarch or part of a monarchy
- Once killed an attackable Gate will replace the corresponding entrance solid wall to prevent entry until it is killed by an attacker who is either a monarch or part of a monarchy
Gate Guardian Re-spawn Dynamics
- When the East Gate Guardian has been killed a (60) minute timer is set for the East Gate Guardian.
- When the West Gate Guardian has been killed a (60) minute timer is set for the Wast Gate Guardian.
- Ranked player kills in the RagaKo Red Zone by a castle owner DECREASES BOTH Gate Guardian respawn timers by (5) minutes of either if active
- Ranked player deaths in the RagaKo Red Zone of a castle owner INCREASES BOTH Gate Guardian respawn timers by (5) minutes of either if active
East and West Gates
- Either the East Gate or West Gate must be killed by an attacker who is either a monarch or part of a monarchy
- The Large Bonfire inside the Castle is de-spawns
- The Fog around the castle turns red
- (3) minutes after killing the Ragako East or West Gate, the blue base of the Heart of Ragako will appear at the spawn location in town.
- After another (2) minute wait The Heart of Ragako will spawn
- If there is less than 16 minutes left in ownership time, the (5) minute wait after killing the Ragako East or West Gate and before the Spawn of the Heart of Ragako is skipped will spawn in just (2) minutes
Gate Re-spawn Dynamics
- When the East Gate has been killed a (30) minute timer is set for the East Gate.
- When the West Gate has been killed a (30) minute timer is set for the Wast Gate.
- Ranked player kills in the Ragako Red Zone by a castle owner DECREASES BOTH Gate respawn timers by (5) minutes of either if active
- Ranked player deaths in the Ragako Red Zone of a castle owner INCREASES BOTH Gate respawn timers by (5) minutes of either if active
Castle Ownership Expiration
When the castle Ownership time expires, several things happen in the area of the castle.
- The Fog around the castle turns black
- The castle hatches are removed
- The Ragako Wishing Well is removed
- The Uber castle vendors are removed
- The Castle Ragako Respite Event is started and will last for (42) minutes
- The Castle Stone Embers Event will start
Castle Respite Expiration
- The Castle Ragako Respite Event ends
- The Fog around the castle turns White
- Vendors low level vendors return to the castle
- The Large Bonfire inside the Castle is de-spawns
- The Heart of Ragako spawn where the Large Bonfire was
- The Castle Stone Embers Event will end, and Titans and Embers will stop spawning outside the castle
- The Buff Agent returns to town
Castle Benefits
Castle Vendors
- The has Castle vendors have the best buy/sell rates available.
- When the castle is under control, Uber versions of many of the vendors spawn and are pink dots on radar.
- Vendors with yellow radar dots indicate the town is not owned
- Vendors with pink radar dots indicate the town is owned by a monarchy
Hatches
When the town is under ownership several hatches can be found around inside the castle function as portals to various destinations

Other Benefits
- Trickle Experience and Luminescence is gained by players who are within the Castle walls.
- Ragako Gold is sometimes gained by players in the Castle owner's allegiance if there are no targets in the area.
- Bonus Experience and Luminescence are made if gained by players in the owner monarch if no targets are in the area.
- Castle Ragako owner monarchy members are granted and additional 3% of earned Luminance elsewhere other than from Castle Ragako payouts
- Castle Ragako owner monarchy members are granted and additional 5% of earned experience elsewhere other than from Castle Ragako payouts
- Ragako Wishing Well. Place your Ragako Gold in the well and wish for something Uber.

Ownership Time Bonus
- When a castle defender(owner) receives a Heartbeat if attacker targets are (0), the Castle Ownership time INCREASES by (10) seconds for each defender up to a MAX gain of (2) minutes every Heartbeat cycle
- When a castle defender(owner) receives a Heartbeat if attacker targets are >=(1), the Castle Ownership time DECREASES by (1) minute for EACH TARGET
- Ranked player kills in the RagaKo Red Zone by a castle owner DECREASES the Castle heartbeat time by (30) seconds
- Ranked player kills in the RagaKo Red Zone by a castle owner INCREASES the Castle Ownership time by (1) Hour
- Ranked player deaths in the RagaKo Red Zone of a castle owner INCREASES the Castle heartbeat time by 30 seconds
- Ranked player deaths in the RagaKo Red Zone of a castle owner DECREASES the Castle Ownership time by (1) Hour
Castle Loitering / Griefing
- When a castle attacker receives a Heartbeat if defender(owner) targets are (0), the Castle Ownership time DECREASES by (10) Minutes
Trickle Experience and Luminescence Mechanics
- Players who are rewarded are PK tagged and can't exit the area for the normal 20 second PK tag time
- Castle Rewards will not be earned if a player is inside a building.
- Castle Rewards will not be earned if a player is NPK.
- Castle Rewards will not be earned if a player has a vitae penalty.
- Castle Rewards will not be earned if a player has been marked as META.
Payout Proc Indicators
When players are rewarded, they "fire" an animation color.
Blue = Castle not under control
- ALL Players will "fire" a Blue animation on Heartbeat Payouts.
Green = The Castle is Under monarchy control and you are in the Castle owner monarchy.
- Player is in the Castle owner monarchy "fire" Green animation.
- Player is in the Castle owner monarchy "fire" Green circling animation when they receive a fellowship BONUS payout when there are (0) targets are in the area.
Orange = The Castle is Under monarchy control and NOT you are in the Castle owner monarchy
- Players not in the Castle owner monarchy will "fire" Orange animation
Trickle Experience and Luminescence Calculation
There are server options for adjusting Payout amounts and limits on the fly based on several server factors
Payouts
- Payout multipliers are only applied to the Castle Owner Monarchy.
- Players who are not in the Castle owner Monarchy will only receive the BASE experience and NO Luminance is paid out.
Factors
The Experience and Luminescence rewards and how often they rewarded are scaled by several factors:
- Current Server Population
- Ranked PK Kills per hour
- Non-allegiance Players in the area that are considered targets to "YOU" at the time of reward
Population Bonus
- Each online player pop 50+ INCREASES Experience to the heartbeat payouts.
- Each online player 50+ INCREASES Luminescence to the heartbeat payouts.
- When the server population reaches 126+ the maximum payouts for the castle are doubled.
Ranked Kills Per Hour Bonus
- Each Ranked Kill for the last 60 Minutes INCREASES Experience to the heartbeat payouts.
- Each Ranked Kill for the last 60 Minutes INCREASES Luminescence to the heartbeat payouts.
Targets Reductions and Bonuses
- Each Target in the area will REDUCE Experience to the payout by 1/2 all the way down to 0 somewhere between 9 to 11 targets.
- Each Target in the area will REDUCE Luminescence to the payout by 1/2 all the way down to 0 somewhere between 9 to 11 targets.
Target Bonuses
- When a player in the Castle owner Monarchy receives a payout, if there are (0) targets, they will also receive an additional payout of 31% more that shares in a fellowship and passes up the Allegiance chain.
- When a player in the Castle owner Monarchy receives a payout, if there are (0) targets, they will also have a 25% chance to receive (1) Ragako Gold.
Castle Monarchy Ownership Server Bonuses
- Castle RagaKo owner monarchy members are granted and additional 3% of earned Luminance elsewhere other than from Castle RagaKo payouts
- Castle RagaKo owner monarchy members are granted and additional 5% of earned experience elsewhere other than from Castle RagaKo payouts
